Accra, March 24, GNA – The Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG) will on Friday, March 27, embark on a justify-your-inclusion exercise to select players for the impending All Africa Badminton Championships scheduled for Kenya next month.

Ignatius Elletey, General Secretary of BAG said in statement that the two day exercise dubbed “National Individual Badminton Championship” will end on Saturday March 28, at the Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.

He said the Association will also use the championship to rank individual players with the top ranked players picking a place in the national team, adding that attractive prizes will be given to outstanding players. The All African Badminton Championship is fixed for April 18 – 27, 2009. 25 March 09
