Afro Entertainment is a promotional company that began in 2001 under the direction of C.E.O. and Marketing Director, Richmond Bonsu.  Mr. Bonsu holds a B-Commerce Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor but he resides from the streets of Toronto. He started this company when he was the President of the Caribbean Communities of Windsor in orchestrating fundraisers and big shows such as Windsor Sports Weekend.  After graduating from university, he gained a keen interest in the lack of promoters organizing shows for the African Canadian community.

A few of the annual events put forth since the company’s inception includes the Fantasy Fashion Show, Red & White Affair, Ghana Independence Celebrations, Exotique Fashion show, All White Affair, Stop the violence campaign BBQ, etc.    Each of the events held have been deemed successful and professional.  The company also works with up and coming artists, models, clothing designers, and even organizes promotional activities for various corporate businesses to build a bridge between themselves and the audiences.

Afro Entertainment has been elevating, improving, and stimulating the African night lifestyle.  Simply put, aim is “to put Africa on the map”.The new venture for this company is Miss Black Beauty Canada (www.missblackcanada.com) and the Fantasy Cruise(boat cruise)
